Overview

This policy explains how information may be handled when you use the apps listed above, created by Joe Keegan. The apps do not require a JDK account. Joe Keegan does not directly collect your name, postal address, phone number or payment-card details through the apps.

Some information may be processed by Apple or an advertising provider when you use features such as Game Center, advertising, in-app purchases or system services.

Game Center

One or more apps may use Apple Game Center for leaderboards, achievements or related features. If you use Game Center, Apple may process your profile, nickname, avatar, scores, achievements and related gameplay information according to Apple’s privacy policy and your settings. Joe Keegan does not receive your Apple ID password or login details.

Advertising

One or more apps may display advertisements. Advertising providers may process device identifiers, approximate location, advertising interactions, app activity, device and operating-system information, and crash or diagnostic information to provide, measure and improve advertising.

Where required, the app will ask for permission before tracking activity across other companies’ apps or websites. You can manage tracking and advertising permissions in your Apple device settings. Advertising providers handle information under their own privacy policies.

In-app purchases

Optional purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Joe Keegan does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Apple may provide limited transaction information needed to confirm or restore a purchase, unlock content or resolve a support request.

App and gameplay data

The apps may store progress, scores, settings, preferences, achievements, unlocked content, saved information and usage statistics locally on your device. This information operates the app and remembers your choices. Unless a feature clearly uses an Apple or third-party service, locally stored data is not sent to Joe Keegan. Deleting an app may delete its locally stored data.

Crash and diagnostic information

Apple may provide crash reports and diagnostics when you choose to share them with developers. These may include technical details about crashes, performance, operating-system and app versions, and errors. This information is used to identify faults, improve stability and fix technical problems, not intentionally to identify individual users.

Support messages

If you contact Joe Keegan, your email address, message and information you choose to provide will be used to respond, investigate a problem, provide support or resolve a purchase or app issue. Support messages are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes or for basic legal and operational records.

Children’s privacy

The apps do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Apple services, advertising and purchases may be subject to parental controls, age restrictions and the relevant provider’s privacy practices. Parents and guardians can restrict purchases, Game Center, tracking and access to apps or content in Apple device settings.

If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to Joe Keegan, contact us so reasonable steps can be taken to delete it.

Sharing and service providers

Joe Keegan does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by Apple Game Center, the App Store and in-app purchase services, Apple crash and diagnostic services, and advertising providers where an app includes advertising. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, investigate fraud or security concerns, protect users, or protect legal rights.

Retention, deletion and your choices

The apps do not maintain a central user-account database. Locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it, the app removes it or you uninstall the app. Apple and advertising providers determine their own retention periods.

Depending on the features you use, you can decline tracking permission, change advertising settings, disable or restrict Game Center, restrict in-app purchases, manage parental controls, and delete local app data by deleting the app.

To request access to, correction of or deletion of information you supplied directly in a support message—or to withdraw consent—email apps@jdk.scot.

Security and international processing

Reasonable steps are taken to minimise collection and protect information provided directly to Joe Keegan, although no electronic communication or storage method is completely secure. Apple and advertising providers may process information in countries outside your own under their policies and applicable safeguards.
